Where to eat at Katsucon

Reasonably Priced Eating at Katsucon

Katsucon is located in the tourist town of National Harbor, MD. A lot of the issues with resort towns is they hike the prices for so-so food. So, what do you do if you are on a budget and don’t want to eat the same thing every day? No fear! We’ve compiled a small list of reasonably prices places to eat while you are at Katsucon.

Rosa Mexicano- Definitely an expensive spot. (Especially for dinner) But it has great reviews all around and if you go during lunch it’s a lot cheaper. If you want an even cheaper option at Rosa, check out the “Starters” portion of their menu. It runs from $7-$11 and will most likely fill you.

Baja Fresh- Big burritos and tacos (think Chipotle) that will make you keel over with fullness. Prices range at different locations but expect to pay around $7.

SushiGrace’s Mandarin- Grace’s Mandarin seems to be over priced for what it is, sub-par generic Asian food. But you can’t go wrong with their sushi, if you go during happy hour that is. Monday-Friday 3pm-6pm, you can get half of their sushi items. It makes “oh my god why is this sushi so freakin’ expensive?!” seem more like an average price.

Chidogo’s- Like hotdogs or beef sandwiches? Go here! A plain hotdog is $1.99 and their more dressed up dogs are still relatively cheap.

Nando’s Peri-Peri- A popular place that offers South African style chicken. They have a wide variety on their menu and ranges from $6.25 to $10.

Potbelly Sandwiches- More expensive (and a little smaller) than Subway but they usePotbelly better, fresher ingredients.

Subway- Ahhh the home of the $5 footlong

McDonalds- Not the healthiest or tastiest option, but it’s there and it’s cheap!
