Mayou is an anime set in a world torn by the war between Humans and Demons. The Humans’ greatest hero invades the Demon King’s 
castle (more like Demon Queen) determined to vanquish her. However, instead of fighting back, the King proposes an alliance with the Hero. She explains how a sudden end to the war can bring further chaos to the world as the Humans once united to stand against their common enemies would eventually begin fighting among themselves, with similar issues already occurring at the Demon Realm. Convinced by her words, the Hero joins forces with the King and together they execute a plan to bring prosperity and a lasting peace to both Humans and Demons alike.
This anime had me from the start. First off, I LOVE the opening music. I don’t know who it’s by but her voice is so beautiful. Second, it had me laughing immediately, although for immature reasons (crazy boobie jiggles). The first episode is heavy on the explanations and not too much happens, but you get to know the two main characters pretty well. (Named Hero and Demon King) The writer started the romance pretty strong, but in a good way. The Demon King is strong in her advances and the Hero seems to like it but pushes her back a lot. It’s refreshing to see characters openly admit their feelings so soon. There are only two episodes out right now and I highly recommend you watch them. I think this is going to be a hot anime for the winter season and I also think a lot of people are going to be cosplaying these amazing outfits in the future.
