The folks over at Shattered Comics are hosting their anual cosplay photo contest! Here’s more info:
To celebrate the release of “SHADOW HUNTERS #3”, The new horror-action comic by Scattered Comics, we have created this 3rd Cosplay Contest. Your challenge is to cosplay as one of the characters from the series. You may enter the competition either as a individual or a group. There will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. All entries will have their pictorial submissions automatically published both on all Scattered Comics websites and SHADOW HUNTERS #3 (Your pictures will be made into a full page gallery with your website of choice displayed) and given a free copy for participating!! That’s right! Everyone will get published and showcased as well as a free copy of the comic for participating! If you plan to wear your cosplay to a convention, let us know and we will send you a pack of autograph cards to sign and give out to your fans! Also…

The contest will be judged by a panel of 6 judges consisting of Wolfgang Meyer- Movie Director (15 Til Midnight/The Family), Stacy Hammon-Producer (Model Hunger/ Disciples), Actress-Lynn Lowery (The Crazies/ Rose White), Horror Hostess Miss Misery (Creepy Kofy Movie Time/ Hostess of Movie Massacre), Oscar Benjamin (Photographer/Journalist/Podcastor of Compassionate Wolf Hour), and Jazel Gonzales-Founder and Owner of TeamLoveHAte. It is such a honor to have these guest judges to be a part of this contest. We want to make this a fun promotional event so the main rule is to be as creative as possible and HAVE FUN!!!
RULES:
1. You must be 18-years old or older to be accepted to participate. (unless you have a parental consent) . You can be a amatuer or celebrity name, this is open for all!!
2. All pictorial submissions should be at least 300dpi for printing purposes and emailed to Jason Dube (scattered_cat@yahoo.com). All emailed images must be in a JPEG, TIFF, or PNG format. Please make sure you attach your contact info so we can send you your prize(s).
3. All submissions must be received by AUGUST 1st, 2013
4. All cosplayers must be dressed as a character in SHADOW HUNTERS to be considered for judging.
5. Entry into this contest constitutes an agreement by the entrants to allow SCATTERED COMICS to use their likeness/image, pictures, etc in any current/future advertisement, promotion, or product.
TIPS:
1. To send in reward winning pictures consider the background in your photos. It should be something that fits your character.
2. Also, send in as many pictures as possible. The more images sent the better chances one of them will turn the judges head and win you the contest!
