Primer isn’t a new thing, but I think a lot of people still don’t use or know about it. Primer can be used on your eyes, 
your face and your lips. Some people just use it so they have a smooth base to apply their makeup on and some people (like me) use it so their makeup doesn’t melt off throughout the day. Before I “discovered” primer, I never thought I could wear liner on my upper lid because it would ALWAYS smoosh off. After using primer, I never had any problems with my makeup smudging or falling off. If you are wearing makeup with your cosplay, primer will help keep you makeup on throughout the day and you won’t even have to think about it. I’m going to list the different price ranges for face primer and eye primer.
Face Primer
High End- Smashbox Photo Finish Primer
You typically can’t go wrong with Smashbox products. This primer is on so many top lists on beauty blogs and in magazines, it’s a must try.
Mid Range- bareMinerals Original Prime Time Primer
This primer definitely falls under the “less is more” line. Only one pump of this stuff and your face is primed and ready to go!
Entry Level- e.l.f. Studio Mineral Infused Face Primer
e.l.f products can be hit or miss, but a lot of people agree that this primer is a definite hit!
Eye Primer
High End- LORAC Behind The Scenes Eye Shadow Primer
A thin layer of this eye primer is tough against oil skin and will also last through extreme heat.
Mid Range- NYX Cosmetics Eye Shadow Base
This NYX eye primer comes in a couple colors, so you have a choice of what you want your base to be!
Entry Level- e.l.f. Essential Eyelid Primer
