Chi’s Sweet Home anime review

Chi’s Sweet Home anime first came out in 2008, but I didn’t find out about it until Fall of 2011. I had just gotten through a series of depressing books and movies and needed a serious pick me up. Someone suggested Chi to me and I was a little skeptical at first, but after watching a few episodes, I was hooked.

Each episode of Chi’s Sweet Home is about 3 minutes long and follows the adventures of a kitten who gets separated from her mother and is found by a couple and their young son. They take her in, (even though their apartment does not allow pets) and crazy, adorable, wacky hijinks ensue. The plot lines are simple, but will definitely take you on an emotional roller coaster ride. Chi made me laugh, cry, squeel and a few other embarrassing verbs. I highly recommend watching Chi’s Sweet Home and can guarantee you’ll want to watch the whole series in one sitting.
