NewCon PDX 2012, started as a Kick Starter project and had a lot of support from con goers. The 2 day con blasted off in late December with great numbers. They just announced today that they will be back for another year and this time for a full 3 days!

Newcon 2013 will be once again held at the Downtown Portland Crowne Plaza~! Same great hotel, more great content~!
The weekend will be Friday the 27th of December to Sunday the 29th of December. We will also be open the afternoon of Thursday for setup, registration, and some games~!
You heard it right folks.. Newcon 2013 will be a THREE DAY EVENT this year~!
We will have registration open as soon as we can, look for info on that. You’ll be able to reserve rooms at our discounted room rate of $92 a night starting this weekend (you can get this rate for any night thurs, fri, sat, sun). So look for that is well.”
We are really excited about this! Other than Kumoricon, the Portland, OR area doesn’t get much con love. Will you be attending NewCon 2013? We will!
